      1.   The Form of Past Perfect Tense:

      2.   Function

             To show an action that happened before another action in the past.

(Untuk menunjukkan suatu kegiatan di masa lampau yang telah selesai terjadi sebelum past event lainnya di waktu lampau)

·      I had known him before you introduced us.

      1^st        : I had known him (past perfect tense)

      2^nd       : You introduced us (simple past tense)

·      I had saved my document before the computer crashed.

      1^st        : I had saved my document (past perfect tense)

      2^nd       : The computer crashed (simple past tense)

·      She had just left the room when the police arrived.

      1^st        : She had just left the room (past perfect tense)

      2^nd       : The police arrived (simple past tense)
