a)
This tense is used to talk about an action at a particular time in
the past.

· They were roasting corn at this time last night.
b)
This tense is used to talk about two actions occurred at the same
time, but one action began earlier and was in progress when the other action
occurred.
(Tenses ini digunakan untuk menyatakan
dua kejadian yang terjadi bersama, tetapi salah satu kejadian terjadi lebih
awal dan masih sedang berlangsung saat kejadian lain berlangsung)
